Overview

The Kansas Department of Labor (KDOL) houses the division of Labor Market Information Services (LMIS). This division is responsible for collecting, analyzing, reporting and publishing data on economic activities for the state of Kansas. During the collection process, employers may be asked to provide information through several different surveys including the Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics Report, Multiple Worksite Report, Annual Refiling Survey, and the Survey of Occupational Injuries and Illnesses conducted in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). According to Federal law, the information provided by businesses is used for statistical purposes only. Any company or individual identifying information for non-government establishments is held in strict confidence.
